It seems interesting to note that cholesterol itself is not actually bad for your health.
HDL and LDL, good/bad its all crap simply focusing on aspect of our health to then go on to the next creating a festering need for some sort of approval from the higher powers that say this is bad or this is bad, even though studies that were conducted over the past 50 years contradict them. Its’ OK doctoring studies is totally fine, and if they don’t support your thesis heck just chuck out the results and repeat until you get a graph that supports your supposition in the first place.
But hey its’ not just me saying this I am just the messenger.
It seems kind of funny that if your bad cholesterol drops in half you actually increase your chances of having a stroke 2X(times) unfortunately since that was an undesirable knowledge result the researchers regrouped and decided to concentrate on dropping it even more compared to control group. Awesome perhaps if you drop your LDL really low you drop dead due to stroke even faster. But don’t you dare touch the FDA food pyramid, no no no that Carbohydrate and all other crap promoted by big food and Pharma needs to really make you ‘healthy’.
My favorite part of the video is the graph upsurge where Uffe describes the upsurge in diabetes even though intake of proteins was more or less stable but the carbohydrate intake went up along with the upsurge in diabetes. It also seems like a coincidence that around that particular time we got the promotion of the “Food Pyramid” where people were told they haven’t really maximized their daily dose of wheat products from bread to past and should really really work on stuffing themselves ‘for their own good’ wink wink, no less.
Slowly but surely we got a rise in all sorts of health problems but hey its’ not the ingrained systemic food formula that people are told to follow by medical professionals, schools which put them up on walls, and general health announcements. No sir, its the ‘lifestyle’, you don’t move to much, just eat a little bit more of that bread ‘yum yum’ and go do a marathon lets drop that cholesterol and saturated fat so that you could have that extra special stroke you always wanted.
